DON'T be afraid of the error culture - empower employees to "speak up".

30 years ago: The captain as the all-encompassing authority on board. His word was law, what he said was done. And in some cases led to accidents, as nobody dared to point out mistakes.

Today: As captain, I am the authority on board. My word counts, I am responsible according to the law and I make the final decision. But I integrate my colleagues from the cockpit and the cabin crew. Speak up! Speak up with your ideas and suggestions! Tell me if something seems unusual, if I've forgotten something, or if I'm wrong and make a mistake.

My management work is much more relaxed and secure with active employees. I am a professional, and so are my employees! I listen to them because they have something to say and create added value.

How do you feel about your corporate culture? Are your employees actively involved and do they express themselves to you? If not, do you know the reasons?

Sometimes it takes little to achieve a lot.
We have an open ear for you and lots of ideas and inspiration.
